This is a great article on page 17 of the the October, 2019 issue of Buildings Magazine, “Protect your Parking Structure from Winter Weather”
This contained numerous preventative measures, and concluded with: “Being aware of the biggest winter weather liabilities – and how to prevent them – can not only help you avoid costly repairs, it can extend the life of your parking structure. And, most importantly, it can keep your tenants safer.”
However, there was no mention of dry sprinkler system maintenance. With a Salamander Reservoir on a dry system, owners and facility mangers can be notified of water in the dry portion of the system (from dry pipe valve compromises or condensation) before it freezes and creates serious problems for the occupants and for the asset!
